The service

347movies is a free, ad-supported website that lets you watch films that are in the public domain or released under Creative Commons licenses, embedded from the Internet Archive. The site itself is free; watching requires no account and no payment.

Legal-only content

We curate the catalog to films with a declared public domain or Creative Commons license recorded in archive.org's metadata. We never knowingly link to pirated, unauthorized, or infringing streams. If a film's legal status cannot be verified, it is excluded. Film metadata comes from the Internet Archive, and their terms govern the content they host.

Third-party content and playback

Films play via the Internet Archive's embedded player and are served by the Internet Archive. 347movies does not host, store, or transmit video files. Your use of the player is subject to archive.org's own terms of service and privacy policy. Poster images and metadata likewise originate from the Internet Archive.

Takedown requests

Because we do not host any content, copyright complaints about a film itself should be directed to the Internet Archive, which hosts the item. If we are notified that a catalog entry is unlawful or inappropriate, we will review and remove the link promptly.

Affiliate and advertising disclosure

347movies may display labeled advertisements in sidebar and leaderboard slots and disclosed affiliate links to third-party retailers. Affiliate links are marked with a visible disclosure and open with rel="sponsored noopener". We never use dark patterns, fake download buttons, or deceptive placements.

Acceptable use

You agree not to abuse the service: no automated scraping at abusive rates, no attempts to disrupt or probe the site's infrastructure, no attempts to circumvent rate limits or security controls. Our API is rate-limited per IP; we reserve the right to block abusive traffic.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Films may be removed from the Internet Archive at any time; when they are, they leave our catalog. We are not liable for damages arising from use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves; the current version is always this page. Continued use of the site means you accept the current terms.
