About this film
The Collaborative Leadership Project (a project of the University of Washington’s Center for Urban Waters, CUW/Puget Sound Institute, PSI) has conducted and filmed oral history interviews with conveners, sponsors, participants, and practitioners from landmark natural resource collaborations conducted in the state of Washington (WA) since the mid-1970s. The goal of the Project is to capture and document as much insight and as many recollections as possible, before anything else is lost to retirements, fading memories, and other losses; and to archive these digitized oral histories. The original copies are housed in the University of Washington Libraries Special Collections. Mike Gaffney is currently Assistant Director of Extension at Washington State University (WSU), also Director of Extension's Community and Economic Development (CED) Program.
