The '60s VHS (06-22-99) (USA)
About this film
Printed on May 18, 1999. Lynda Obst, who was the executive producer of such movies as SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE and CONTACT, brought to television this tale of two families, one black, one white, trying to find common ground in the midst of many chaotic events, such as the Vietnam War and clashes ensuing within the civil rights movement. Followed in the mid-spring of 2000 by THE '70S, which was to be among the final Trimark Home Video releases (that company was formerly known as Vidmark Entertainment and was sold to Lions Gate the following year, eventually going defunct later).
