Here's a tape full of telecasts of Fox 5's movie shows from around the later part of the summer of '93; they are about to turn 30 and are related to writers Richard Levinson and William Link. The tape opens with an airing of a double bill of their projects that aired on July 25, 1993. One of them is GUILTY CONSCIENCE, starring Sir Anthony Hopkins and Blythe Danner, and originally telecast on CBS April 5, 1985. The other is the NBC-era COLUMBO episode "Etude in Black". The former of the two has the 1982 20th Century Fox Television logo at the end, which suggests that Fox 5 had a print of it kicking around in its vaults since the 1980s and dusted it off for the telecast. The latter, in a surprise turn of events for Fox 5's airings of COLUMBO episodes, completely omits the end credits. The other NBC-era COLUMBO episode on the tape follows the "Etude in Black" one. It's "Troubled Waters", and it was taped on August 1, 1993.
