In this story, Nick has been contacted by his old friend, Chief Weston, of the Boston Police Department. When he arrives, he is shown a photograph, depicting a crime in progress and is informed there has been a spate of holdups on local highways. Something has to be done but Nick doesn't usually resort to consulting a fortune teller!
