About this film
"The Frozen Menace" is a mockumentary short on the dangers of ice-cream consumption. Ostensibly an experiment in visual and audio manipulation, the film incorporates footage from over a dozen postwar dairy production and anti-drug films to create an absurd, alternate reality where ice cream is banned for it's hallucinogenic properties. All footage used in "The Frozen Menace" was obtained from the Prelinger Archives at The Internet Archive (www.archive.org).
