About this film
I've been researching newly public domain films from 1929 and earlier, so I'm uploading the best possible copies that I can find. Lead actress Lillian Gish decided that she would like to star in a film based on the 1925 novel, also titled The Wind. This tragedy drama has become increasingly beloved since it's release, and is frequently thought of as one of the greatest silent films.
