About this film
THE WARRIORS (1979) Rated-R/Crime-Drama/Paramount Pictures (Gulf +Western) A street gang from Coney Island, is blamed unfairly for another rival gang leader's death Starring Michael Beck, Deborah Van Valkenburgh, James Remar. Directed by Walter Hill ("Hard Times", "The Driver", "The Long Riders", "48 Hrs.", "Extreme Prejudice" and "Johnny Hansom"). It actually shows what was (cinematographically by critically acclaimed photographer Andew Laszlo, better known for his Box Office Hit movies "The Funhouse" and "Streets of Fire") featured in the original 1979 theatrical version (as I remember it in the movie theater) of one of the amusement rides below the opening…
