The Nutcracker Prince 1991 WARNER HOME VIDEO VHS
About this film
"Delightful, Heart-warming, A real holiday treat." It wouldn't be Christmas without a classic. And this classic retelling of E.T.A. Hoffman's beloved tale offers the most magical, snow-dusted Christmas a child could ever imagine. Join young Clara, whose new wooden nutcracker draws her into a glorious realm of adventure and enchantment. Kiefer Sutherland, Megan Follows, Phyllis Diller and Peter O'Toole (in the comic role of an elderly wooden soldier) are among the sparkling voices in the feature-length The Nutcracker Prince. The sumptuous music is by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky. And the animation is equally splendid. Over 70,000 hand-drawn cels give this lovely, timeless story a shimmering look. The result is a richly detailed "perfect treat for the whole family, destined to become a holiday classic" (Joanna Langfield, LBS Radio Network).
