"The Hunt" (1992)
About this film
Warning: This footage contains scenes of hunting and animal death. The men involved in the hunting seem to be doing so out of necessity, but unsuspecting viewers may be troubled by the scenes of dead deer. Presented for archival purposes only. If you or a family member appear in this tape and would like it removed, please comment below and I will abide by your wishes. This tape was originally acquired as part of an item lot at an auction house. Most of the other tapes were TV recordings, but this one is clearly a dubbed copy of someone's home video. In the footage, we see five Canadian settlers (four hunting and one holding a camera) going out for buck hunting. I have no idea who any of these gentlemen are, but this home video gives an interesting look into life in rural Saskatchewan during the early 1990s.
