The Great Flamarion is a 1945 American film noir mystery film directed by Anthony Mann. Starring Erich von Stroheim and Mary Beth Hughes. The film, like many films noirs, is shot in flashback narrative. Plot: Part of an entertainment act, Connie a beautiful but unscrupulous female performer manipulates all the men in her life in order to achieve her aims. Flamarion, an expert marksman is part of the vaudeville show alongside Connie and Al, a married couple. When Flamarion and Connie fall in love, they decide it is time to get rid of Al.
