The Founding of the Ming Dynasty is a 1971 Taiwanese fantasy film with four kaiju characters (a size-changing white primate, a green-skinned-and-red-haired ogre, and two dueling dragons). Effects footage from this film would be reincorporated (sometimes stolen) for other Taiwan films in the latter 1970s and early 1980s, notably The Fairy and The Devil (1982).
