About this film

Watch the media guerrilla Total Refusal in their project Felt Real Might Delete Later where they transform a number of selected NPCs (extras in video games) into social media influencers. Profiles of NPCs were created and uploaded to multiple social media channels, such as Tinder, Instagram, Zoom, Twitch and TikTok. By doing so the collective investigated current excesses of late capitalist media. Screen Walks is a series of live-streamed artist/researcher-led explorations of online spaces and artistic strategies designed to illuminate a thriving – often overlooked – digital cultural scene. A new online collaboration between The Photographers’ Gallery , UK and Fotomuseum Winterthur , Switzerland.
