About this film
I've been researching newly public domain films from 1929 and earlier, so I'm uploading the best possible copies that I can find. The film infamous for the clocktower stunt near the end, Safety Last! was also critically acclaimed and a massive hit upon release. While the film was billed as a romantic-comedy, the stunt work and slapstick is more impressive than the writing and romance for much of the picture.
