About this film
Planeta Bur ( Planet of Storms ) is a Soviet science fiction film directed by Pavel Klushantsev . The narrative follows a crew of Soviet cosmonauts aboard two spaceships, Sirius and Vega , on a mission to explore Venus. After the tragic destruction of the third ship, Capella , by a meteor, the remaining crew members face numerous challenges, including hostile alien flora and fauna, as they attempt to survive on the harsh planet. The protagonist, Ilya Vershinin , leads his team, including the cynical Roman Bobrov and the enthusiastic Alyosha , through perils that test their skills and resolve.
