When the Earth is threatened by an evil alien, a group of UN scientists travel to the lost city of Atlantis where they unearth a superhuman mummy named The Golden Bat who is prophesied to help the humans survive this terrible attack. 昭和六年頃、少年冒険雑誌で人気を呼んだ永松健夫の原作を、「脂のしたたり」の高久進が脚色し、「散歩する霊柩車」の佐藤肇が監督した特撮もの。撮影は「北海の暴れ竜」の山沢義一
