Opening & Closing to The Billion Dollar Hobo 1983 VHS [CBS/Fox Video]

About this film

*New-upload!* Distributors: CBS/Fox Video & Samuel Goldwyn Home Entertainment | Reprint pressing [Extremely rare; comes in the original MGM/CBS Home Video packaging w/front label] | Catalog number: CV600095 | Original video release date: December 1981. Note: As with most other 1983 reprints of 1980-82 CBS Video Enterprises titles, CBS/Fox crafted a new tape master to remove all references and logos to MGM/CBS and CBS Video. MAG 1 is carved on the bottom of the tape, indicating that it's a later CBS/Fox copy and not the original. However, the opening & closing to that original can be seen somewhere on YouTube. Watch that one too, because it's interesting to compare both versions lol. The 1981 release is a very find. Synopsis: Vernon Praiseworthy is a clumsy but lovable dope who stands to inherit his uncle's fortune. The condition is that he travel the rails as a penniless hobo just as his uncle did in the dark days of the depression. That seems simple enough until he gets involved in a dog-napping plot.
