Nightmare: Host and Rodney, 1950s Collection 01 rework
About this film
Episode segments from the Wichita, Kansas horror host program “Nightmare” with The Host and Rodney. These are recordings from the original late 1950s kinescope 16mm reels that survived. From the original broadcast of the first run of this classic television program, starring Tom Leahy Jr. as The Host and John Salem as Rodney. The original version of this collection, posted here, was from a DVD that was circulating in horror host collector groups. This updated version is a rework that clears up the flaws in the original, crops out the VHS control track bleed through, and does basic contrast correction.
