Der Freischütz: Trio (schwedisch gesungen) (Weber) 25 cm Harmonium Record H.939-II (= Favorite 1-89032) Matrix Nr. not readable [2361 - o] Nanny LARSEN - Sopran, Torsten LENNARTSSON - Tenor, Helene MATSSON - Sopran (& Piano) rec. ca. 1906 -1908 Note : This is a very early recording of Nanny Larsen(-Todsen), found at the SLUB and a little bit worked over by me.Johannesson lists this record in his discography and gives it as from Dez. 1906, the year Larsen debuted at the Stockholm opera. This seems correct for me, but Lennarts(s)on was born (officially) in 1891 and debuted at the Stockholm opera in 1908. I do not know if he was in reality older or made his first recording while he was 17 years old.... Of Helene MATSSON, who is not mentioned on the official label I would not even know the first name if not someone would have pinned it on the record label in pencil.
