About this film

This video interview of Meghavath Sathish and Nenavath Mohan -- both Lambani language speakers -- was conducted by Subhashish Panigrahi in September 2019, and was used in the production of 2021 documentary " MarginalizedAadhaar ". In this interview, Sathish and Mohan engage in a dialogue about Indian biometric ID -- Aadhaar -- and its impact on their own community -- Lambani that once nomadic and is distributed across western, central and south India. The Lambani language is an endangered and oral language and some of the questions address the issue of access to critical information in native languages.
