Raw footage shot for Access Alberta public television documentary about Indigenous Peoples of central Alberta, traditional knowledge, and land use. Unfortunately the individuals interviewed in the video are not identified by name. Macheepchoowin is a Metis word for a hunting and fishing trip in which members gather around a campfire in the evening to eat the catch, tell stories, and sing songs. The outing documented in this video probably took place in late summer or early fall 1974 at Lesser Slave Lake in central Alberta. 8 mins. 40 secs.
