About this film
LibriVox recording of Lost on the Trail by Pansy. Read in English by TriciaG. Weewona was a young child when she and her mother, lost on the trail, appeared at an isolated mountain shack, her mother collapsing on the doorstep and dying soon after. She doesn't know her real name or her past except vague, shadowy memories. When the man who has taken care of her so well (and gave her her name) dies, his mother heads back east to the rest of her family, leaving Weewona on her own. She hears a song when on the outskirts of a tent meeting about "the sunset gate" and "putting on glory" that will haunt her until she learns their meaning. (Summary by TriciaG) All songs in the recording used their original tunes, which are out of copyright.
