The film is from 1987 despite having a copyright date of 1985, but the VHS release is 1990. Deep within the strange and foreign land called Karistan there lives a legend - the Legend Of The White Horse. Strange stories tell of a wild yet beautiful beast, possessed of magical powers and the embodiment of all that is good. But when the peace of it's land is threatened, the mystical creature has the power to transform into an all-powerful dragon. The only person to know the truth is Jewel, a young blind girl, who secretly knows where to find the lair of the white horse. But when evil forces threaten the creature's very existence, Jewel is forced to find help in the shape of a young boy called Steve and his father Jim Marlowe (played by 'Back To The Feature' professor, Christopher Lloyd). Between them they must stop the forces of darkness from consuming all that is good, and summon the dragon from its lair to come forth and destroy the ultimate evil once and for all.
