Notes Király Ernő (1884 Kiskeszi, Hungary [now Malé Kosihy, Slovakia]-1954 New York, NY) was a Hungarian actor, director, theater director, and tenor vocalist. Debuting in 1902, he soon became not only the most popular tenor in Budapest, but also did guest appearances in Vienna and Berlin. He toured the United States in 1920, 1923, and 1928. Between 1928 and 1929, he led two theaters in Chicago and New York. He returned to Hungary, but moved permanently to the United States in 1935, running a theater in Cleveland, OH, and later a restaurant.
