今あの歌・ヒット曲 (Ima Anouta Hishito Kyoku) - 2 Episodes from July 1987
About this film
This is a treat, right here. This is a tape that I bought on eBay from a lot of 11 tapes (I sold off 5 recently) about 6-7 years ago. I researched the characters that are written on the tape, and I found out that this is a music show called " 今あの歌・ヒット曲 ( Ima Anouta Hishito Kyoku) ," also known as " Play That Hit, Now! ," which ran on TV Tokyo and its other associated affiliates from July 9th, 1987 to September 16th, 1987, and ran 9 episodes on a weekly basis. As far as I've looked, the only other site that has any kind of this content is a video on BilliBilli (a Chinese video sharing site), and even then, it's a performance from a single artist, not the entire show. What I'm presenting to you is not one, but two episodes of lost media that has not been presented since its airing in 1987. Also note that this tape appears to be a second generation copy, as noted by the softer-than-average picture. This was how I got this footage as-found ~6-7 years ago; this is not my dub! Enjoy, everyone, and stay safe! ~ bd
