About this film
Department of Agriculture Harvesting Trees and Water Quality Produced in West Virginia with major funding from the USDA, these videos originated in three different areas of the country. Each area is concerned with the quality of water that comes from or through our forestlands. Each area is concerned, too, about how to protect our water resources when timber is harvested and trees are removed from the land. The two other videos describe research on how water quality is influenced by the forest, and how human activities may affect that quality.
