The Act is the first major overhaul of the nation’s bankruptcy laws in 27 years. This program supplements information in Implementing the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005: An Overview for Judges, Staff Attorneys, and Law Clerks, which first aired on the FJTN in June. It includes an update on the development of interim rules and forms, and an indepth examination of some of the changes judges will face. Judge A. Thomas Small (Bankr. E.D. N.C.) moderates the discussion with panelists Judges William H. Brown (Bankr. W.D. Tenn.) and Eugene Wedoff (Bankr. N.D. Ill.).
