Utah Department of Transportation Video VH-237H Lane Leveling Wheel rutting and shoving in truck lanes and on high volume roads requires leveling of the traveled lane. Each step of the procedure is demonstrated: lane closing and setting up traffic control devices, cleaning and tacking the surface, spreading the bituminous mix material, grading the new materials to level the surface and maintain the road's cross section, and compacting.
