Federal Highway Administration Video VH-169 Testing and Field Inspection of Roadway Delineation The goal of this two-part video is to help local highway agencies develop a field inspection program to ensure proper installation, maintenance and removal of roadway delineation systems. While highway signing and post-mounted delineators are discussed, this video emphasizes pavement markings. Part 1 covers pre-qualification of materials, application of pavement markings, and inspection of new markings. Part 2 covers application of other delineation, maintenance, and day and night inspection. Equipment and standards for inspection are discussed.
