Delaware Department of Transportation Video VH-153 Six-Wheel Dump Trucks (Part 2) This two-tape set covers basic information for the operator of the six-wheel dump truck. Part 1 shows daily preventive maintenance checks, startup procedures and warm-up checks, and some basic instructions for use of manual and automatic dump truck transmissions and the two- speed rear axle. Part 2 shows three basic maneuvers: braking, turning and backing. Automatic and manual dump body controls, loading operations, and truck shutdown procedures are also demonstrated.
