Procedures presented here also apply to other trucks, and are divided into four types of activities: prestart check (a walkaround inspection for damage or fluid leaks, proper air pressure and fluid levels); warm-up check (warning lights, gauges, hydraulic hoist, steering and brakes); daily operating check, (listening for unusual conditions and monitoring gauges); and shutdown check (refueling, cleaning, parking).
