The Cylinder Archive [ www.cylinder.de ] release for for March 2007: Arie aus Traviata (Lebt wohl jetzt, ihr Traeume), sung by the German soprano Hedwig Francillo-Kauffmann on Edison Goldguss Record #15935 III/ 4: Aria of Violetta from La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi & Francesco Piave The announcement was done by Carl Nebe with his typical wrong pronunciation of the name Edison. This rare soprano recording was done at Edison recording studios in Berlin. Gladly the record has survived in nearly perfect condition.
