About this film

The Cylinder Archive [ www.cylinder.de ] release for July 2011: A more unusual instrumental solo on a zither, performed by Prof. D. Wormser on an Edison Gold Moulded cylinder, recorded in September 1902. Heimweh (homesickness) was composed by Albert Jungmann. Wormser did record a small series for Edison and started in the brown wax era of the late 1890's.
