About this film

The Cylinder Archive [ www.cylinder.de ] release for November 2009: Oreste Mieli (Mielino) performs an opera selection from Norma. This recording was made in 1901 where the Edison Phonograph Co. had made a series done in Milan, Italy. The cylinder itself, however this cylinder was not issued prior to 1904. An unusual aspect is the missing Edison name in the announcement.
