Dazzling Disney: Volume Two (Amvest Video, 1989)
About this film
This was the second volume in a series of (technically) public domain VHS tapes showing vintage Disney movie trailers, as well as several other oddities like a vintage Walt Disney World commercial and a couple public domain Disney shorts. It was distributed by Amvest Video, the company behind the infamous series of "Kid Pics" public domain cartoon videos, and both the intro and outro segments from those videos are also intact here. Contents: Pinocchio (1940) - film trailer Walt Disney World commercial (date unknown) All Together (1942) - public domain Disney short made for the National Film Board of Canada Darby O'Gill and the Little People (1959) - film trailer Song of the South (1946) - film trailer 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1954) - film trailer The Three Caballeros (1945) - film trailer It was originally uploaded to YouTube by Nich Richie, and would be later uploaded to Vimeo for archival purposes by Anthony Gonzales. The films these trailers were made for are all owned by Disney, but the trailers showcased here are public domain, as all trailers for movies released before 1964 were never separately copyrighted. This is archived here for archival and preservational purposes.
