Comictunes - A Collection of Children's Video Network re-releases
About this film
Comictunes was a series of re-released public domain cartoon videotapes by The Children's Video Network. There were several reprints of releases taken from ComicToons, Funhouse Video, Supertron Cartoon Videos, and even Screen Original. But however, the CVN reprints of these releases have actual cuts and badly done edits on every release such as "Sinbad the Sailor & Other Cartoon Classics", for example, by removing the scene with the song, "Small Fry" when the fish goes inside the dark cave in a 1939 short, "Small Fry". The reason why the scenes were badly cut or badly edited is because they had to make it look so cheap and sell it to UK pound shops and other video rental stores in Australia and New Zealand. Originally, the scenes on every public domain cartoon on VHS were uncut. But in the CVN re-releases, it gets really weird and cuts everything off trying to find a scene uncut.
