The Cylinder Archive [ www.cylinder.de ] release for September 2017: A cakewalk dance, performed by Gilmore's Band, one of Columbia's most active bands at that time. This particular brown wax cylinder was recorded ca. 1898-99 and was apparently duplicated by a pantograph, which can be clearly heard by the reduced dynamics.
