Cartoon Network Cable 65 - (2000) Sailor Says PSA About Skin Protection
About this film
Take care of your skin, Sailor Moon says. As a result of the illegal and un-Constitutional Children's Television Act of 1990, cartoons had to start airing Public Service Announcements within the the programming itself. Some older cartoons, like He-Man and G.I. Joe already were doing this, while some cartoons, like The Super Mario Bros. Super Show ditched their sitcom segments and bookended the episodes with "educational" programming like Club Mario. DiC Animation, the same production house as the Mario Show, decided to go this route with Sailor Moon.
