About this film
This film was produced by the University of Vermont Agricultural Experiment Station in the 1940's as part of a study of different hay harvesting techniques. This film and two others, Hand Methods of Harvesting Hay and Using the One-Man Pickup Baler , were preserved in 2008 thanks to a grant from the National Film Preservation Foundation.
