Bloody Pit of Horror is a 1965 Italian Gothic horror film directed by Massimo Pupillo . Unbeknownst to them, the castle's owner, Travis Anderson (played by Mickey Hargitay ), has donned the persona of the Crimson Executioner , a character bent on torturing and killing the group using various gruesome methods inspired by historical torture devices.
