The Best of Classic Commercials from the 50's & 60's (1993)
About this film
Let's flick through those channels and we're going to take a campy trip down memory lane when young and old alike started watching television during the Golden Age of Television brought us some Classic Commercials gem. Remember greasing your hair with Brylcreme, drinking Bosco Chocolate Drink, spending five cents for Chunky. Watch George Reeves as Clark Kent using his X-Ray vision to locate Sugar Smacks, Lucy & Desi for Philip Morris, Nancy Reagan for Crest, Sandra Dee for Luster Creme, Jackie Cooper for Kent and Sterling Hayden for Gruen watches. Also remember Maypo, Yodels, Cracker Jacks, Barbie, Bond Bread, Shake A Pudding and Chinese Baby from Jello, Mounds, Wildroot Creme Oil with Fearless Fosdick and the I Love Lucy Gang for Westinghouse. Don't forget the Double Mint Twins, The White Knight, Bonomo's Turkish Taffy, Old Gold Dancing Cigarettes, just to name a few. But first a word from our sponsors. These Classic Commercials have been transferred from the original film elements to video from the Archives of "Film and TV Historian" Ira H. Gallen.
