About this film
August Westner created a herring sculpture for the banks of the Aberjona River, celebrating Aberjona River Day, also Earth Day, April 22, 2023 out of found objects, with a grant from the Winchester Cultural District, co-sponsored by the Winchester Conservation Commission. August Westner, an immigrant from Germany, moved to Winchester in 1977, and made his living at high tech companies in the area.
