About this film
Original Thomas Edison Wax Cylinder Record From 1907. Here's a wonderful find, on McEntosh Fever's Ancient Technology Corner. We take a close, but not too deep, look at a Thomas Edison Phonograph Co. Gold Mould wax cylinder record. This one is "Banjo Solo: Darkey Tickle", composed and performed by famous (in the early 1900s) banjo player Vess L. Ossman, (catalogue number 2608). It's used as the music bed for this video.
