American Country Cowboy (1992)
About this film
American Country Cowboy (sometimes credited as American Country Cowboys ) was a 1992 TV special produced and directed by musician Lynn Anderson. The special features a professional cow-wrangling competition, with commentary and judging by some of the era's biggest names in country music. All proceeds made during this special went towards disabled children's charities in the southern American states. Fair warning for some dated language regarding disabled peoples. This special was done for genuine humanitarian reasons, but the "special riders" moment in the intro sequence knocked me out cold.
