[Description from the original press release] Clayton Corbin, the actor who portrays Oglala Sioux Holy Man Black Elk in the play "Black Elk Speaks", and Hilda Petri, daughter of the late John G. Neihardt, will be interviewed on the Nebraska Educational Television Network Saturday, February 4, at 9:30 p.m. The play, which is based on Neihardt's book, was produced by the Folger Theatre Group of Washington, D.C., and currently is on a tour of Nebraska. The company will later tour the nation. Posing questions will be Nebraska Wesleyan professors Henry Blanke, Richard Quinn and Roger Cognard. Included in the program will be a short excerpt from the play. "Black Elk Speaks" tells the story of how the Indians lost the west and famous historical personages as Columbus, Red Cloud, Custer and Crazy Horse are portrayed in the play. The play was written by Christopher Sergei and directed by Louis W. Scheeder. Philip J. Lang composed the music. The program was produced by the Nebraska ETV Network and University of Nebraska Television. Harvey Stewart was the producer.
