We explore the Carlsbad City Council which has unanimously approved a resolution for a nuclear waste facility near the Eddy-Lea County border. The governor, the New Mexico Land Commissioner, and the Congressional Delegation are all opposed, particularly about the use of fracking in the same region. Can these efforts coexist?
