This week on New Mexico in Focus, it’s a close look at Bernalillo County’s mobile voting unit, which debuted last fall as the first such experiment in the state. NMiF explains the program, its attractiveness to other counties, and how voting officials decide where to take it for elections. On this month’s installment of Our Land, environmental correspondent Laura Paskus looks at how climate change affects spring runoff and summer irrigation here in New Mexico. The interview is a companion piece to the national PBS series “Sinking Cities.” Host Gene Grant and the Line opinion panelists debate Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller’s new plan to address gun violence. The Line also looks at the Energy Transition Act that Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham signed into law and discusses the bills that the governor vetoed.
