Televangelism -- In 1980 famed pollster George Gallup and our guest, the Reverend Dr. David Poling of Albuquerque's First Presbyterian Church, wrote the best seller "The Search For America's Faith." The book traces the origins and rise of the fundamentalist Christian movement, which culminated in today's televangelism boom. Tonight, Poling, who is working on a follow up book with Gallup and others, assess the impact of recent scandals on televangelism's superstars (Guests: Belarmino Blackie Gonzales, President and General Manager, SON Broadcasting KCNF TV, Channel 11 in Santa Fe; Pastor Raymond Franks, Christian Broadcaster; Dr. David Poling, Pastor, First Presbyterian Church in Albuquerque).
