The pair is charged with a litany of crimes surrounding an allegedly fraudulent audit. NMiF has interviewed the state auditor about the investigation and hashed out the issue on The Line. The opinion panel continues debating the future of the NMFA and the hundreds of public projects that depend on its low-cost financing. The Line also takes a closer look at Secretary of State Dianna Duran’s plan to verify New Mexico’s voter rolls. The task – required by law – hasn’t been done in years, but Duran’s timing has drawn fire from Democrats and progressives across the state.
