Failing Banks (1986-02-13)
About this film
[Description from the original press release] Failing Banks is a program which begins with a brief video piece that looks at some of the causes of the banking communities troubles. Following the video story a panel of experts, within a studio setting, exchange views on how strong the banking structure is. Topics to be considered include: just how extensive the trouble in the banking community is; how a bank closing might affect a community; reasons for bank failures; and changes in lending practices occurring because of the financial stress. Failing Banks is hosted by Lincoln Journal reporter John Barrette. Three of four studio guests join Mr. Barrette for the studio segment.
